Sweet little Aubree... somehow, she's already one year old.  She is one of my first "Baby's First Year Plan" babies.  (Click here to learn about that plan.)

What a joy it has been working with the F family three times during their adorable baby's first year!  We captured such cuteness on camera, and their walls are officially decked out with that cuteness to enjoy every time they see those art pieces.

Shea is ONE! Cake Smash Session {Austin Baby Photographer}

Beautiful baby.  Adorable in every way.  And a mama who brought some of THE cutest things I've seen to date in a Cake Smash.

That is a recipe for one of my favorite Cake Smash sessions at the studio!  Enjoy a sneak peek into our morning.

What is a Cake Smash? {Austin Baby Photographer}

Cake Smash sessions are quickly becoming one of my most popular offerings.  I have three of them next week!  How sweet (pun intended) is that?!

Some people have never heard of a cake smash, so I wanted to explain it here.  A Cake Smash session is perfect for a first or second birthday, and is such a fun and unique way to celebrate (and remember in pictures) your baby hitting that amazing milestone!

It is an hour long weekday session in my photography studio (click here for a tour), and includes 10 digital images on CD with print release.  Many clients also purchase an adorable collage of images from the session to hang in baby's nursery, or additional prints and/or digital files. 

We start out with a set up where baby is wearing a regular outfit.  Then we work our way into the cake smash part of the session.  And we finish things up with a bubble bath, which is a baby favorite, and provides us with the cutest images!

It's amazing how much babies change in just one year.  See how little Ellie changed in her first year?  I feel so blessed to get to capture memories like this for my clients to enjoy as artwork in their homes for many years to come, and even to pass on to their babies when they are grown.
