Beautiful Baby Bump {Austin Maternity Photographer}

I had so much fun working with the S family again.

Amanda is such a trooper... not only is she very pregnant in the summer, but she is very pregnant in the summer that just experienced THE hottest month of July EVER.  In history.  Ouch.

I'm sure when Baby Boy decides it is time to work on delivery, she will be more than happy to oblige.  For  now, she's just looking beautiful with a lovely baby bump.  Miss E will be such a good big sister.

Little Beauties {Austin Children's Photographer}

I have loved working with these two little girls (twins) in the last year or so.   This is the third time we've worked together, and they just keep getting cuter and cuter!  They are turning into such little ladies so quickly.

Mr. O Turns Two {Austin Children's Photographer}

When I first met O's mama in a fitness class I taught weekly at Pure Austin downtown, I think I knew we would be friends.  And when she quietly came up to me before class one day and told me she was pregnant, I was so excited for her! 

Pretty soon, she and I both had pretty round bellies and then we both had baby boys! 

Mr. O is so darn cute.  I'm not sure what is cuter... his big blue eyes, beautiful blonde curls, or the stylish way his mama dresses him.  It was so fun doing their photo shoot in a  place where they (and Miles and I) spend so much time exercising and adoring our beautiful city!

Having one of those days...

I am having one of those days where I am almost overflowing with giddiness and gratitude for the creativity that God has given my brain.  And for the opportunity to be on this journey of photography and to get to experience all of the joy that comes along with it.

Mother's Day Surprise! Part I...

I cannot tell you how excited I have been to post these!  But I couldn't do it immediately, or it would ruin the Mother's Day surprise that these little gals and their daddy gave their (very) hard workin' mama!

I wish that I could have been a fly on the wall in their house when she opened her photo presents on Mother's Day!

Mr. G Turns 2! {Austin Children's Photographer}

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of being asked to photograph a 2nd birthday party and do some family photos, as a large number of people were in town for the party.  I cannot believe Mr. G is two, because that means my own little man turns two soon!  Time certainly does fly. 

It was fun being part of such a great party.  And always a treat to be around these families... they are hilarious.  Here are some of the shots of the children. 

There is just something about the cowboy hats that I bring in my photography bag that gets the little boys to "turn it on."  Apparently, Mr. "O" now wants a cowboy hat and boots for his birthday! 

Busy Friday! {Austin Maternity Photographer}

Last Friday was super busy, but fun!  I enjoyed 2 mini-shoots in the bluebonnets, taught my fitness class at Pure Austin, and then enjoyed doing a maternity shoot for a dear friend.  Followed that up with a photo shoot that I'm doing for a special project. 

She is supermama, and I am so excited that not too long from now, her little girl will become a big sister to a baby boy!

Sweet Baby "G" {Austin Baby Photographer}

I think it is safe to say... I am in love!  I had the pleasure of serving my sweet friend L again today by photographing her sweet family of three.  (Previously, I enjoyed doing her maternity photos.  Click here to see her pretty baby bump.)

Little man "G" is just too cute.  I honestly forget how tiny newborns are.  Her son weighed exactly what mine did when he was born, but even then... I just hardly remember Miles being that tiny.  Time sure does fly.  That is why I love capturing sweet moments like these for families to frame and enjoy for years to come.

Newborn Baby C {Austin Baby Photographer}

Ah... these photos just remind me how much I love tiny babies. And how I wish I would have had someone come to my house to take photos like this of our new family of 3 in August of 2009! Maybe with baby #2 one day in the future.

The 3 "S" Families {Austin Family Photographer}

Friday afternoon, I enjoyed doing a photo shoot for 3 families.

I first met the "S" family last summer. One of my close friends works with A and thought that we might get along well since our kids are about the same age and we live a few blocks from each other. An introduction and a few play dates later, she was right, and little Miles has a crush on Miss "E." :)

2 of the 3 families were in town from the northeast for Miss "E's" second birthday. It was a pleasure working with all of them!

Miss "E" had quite the party today! There was a petting zoo, pony rides, great food, and much more. Photos to come soon.
