Cutest FAMILY 2011 Contest is Here!

The "Cutest Kid 2011 Contest" on our facebook page has been a HUGE hit, and the little sweeties up for the title are getting lots and lots of votes.  Now it's time to post the "Cutest FAMILY 2011 Contest..." and I could not be more excited to show off these beautiful families.  Narrowing it down was tough!

Here are the contest rules... 

Visit and "LIKE" the "Miles of Smiles Photography by Sarah" facebook page to see and vote on the cutest families.  For votes to count, you MUST be a fan/follower of our facebook page (meaning you have to click "Like" on the main page - not just on the image you're voting for).



After liking the page, vote for your favorite pic(s).  You can vote on as many as you want to, but you must actually comment on the picture(s) AND be a fan of our facebook page.  (Just pushing the "Like" button for the photo you're voting on will not count as a vote... You must actually leave a comment AND be a fan of our facebook page.)   So "Like" our page and leave your favorite family some love!

The family with the most votes posted from our fans will win a FREE "Backyard Package" session! 

Voting ends on January 31st, so tell your friends and get them to vote too!  (Just let them know the rules for their votes to count.)  Easiest way to do that is to push "Share" on one of the posts I do on the "Cutest Family Contest" on my "Miles of Smiles Photography by Sarah" facebook page and send your friends a little message about it.

Cutest Kid 2011 Contest

I am so excited to be doing my first "Cutest Kid" contest!  (Stay tuned for the "Cutest Baby" and "Cutest Family" contests coming soon.)

We had so many fun and amazing kids to work with in 2011, and I am so grateful for every single one of them.  But alas... we could only pick a limited number of kiddos for this contest.

Announcing: Bluebonnet Mini-Photo Session Giveaway!

I am excited to announce my next Mini-Photo Session Giveaway!

I am giving away 2 Bluebonnet mini-sessions that will take place on Wednesday, March 30th. So if you are looking for some sweet pictures of your child(ren) and/or family (or pets!) with those beautiful Texas bluebonnets, this one is for you!


Here are the details on how to win:

When: Wednesday, March 30th 8:30-8:45am 8:45-9am
Where: Circle C Subdivision (South Austin)

What: Includes a 15-minute mini-session and 5 edited and high resolution images on a CD! CD will be available for pick up by April 10th. You will get ownership of these images, so you can print and share them any way you wish! I will also email you an online gallery where you can easily order any prints that you want.

How to Enter: (Participants must do all 3 things below to be eligible for the giveaway.) Deadline to register is 7pm on Sunday, March 27th (but the earlier - the better).

Sweet Giveaway Winners: The "S" Family {Austin Family Photographer}

I did a special giveaway of a mini-session for Valentine's Day, and it could not have gone to a nicer family.

In the pre-session paperwork, I always ask my clients what feel they are going for in their photos. This family mentioned the words "joyful, energetic, timeless." I also ask what the one thing my clients love most about their family. They mentioned "very close, loving." I could not agree more with the words they chose to describe their sweet family, and I think those things shine through in their photos.

The "S" family was so loving and sweet to each other, and it just made my heart happy to do their family photos. She said when she learned that she won the giveaway, she did a happy dance in her kitchen. It was the first time they had done family photos since "B" was just one year old!

He goes down in the books as one of the nicest and most easy-to-photograph kids I have worked with. What a doll! Hard to believe my little boy will be this in just five years.
