This spring is having a gorgeous turnout of Texas bluebonnets, and we are running Mini-Session SPECIALS!  And following those, my personal favorite... the red and yellow wildflowers that come out in May.

The H Family: Wildflower Session

Two of my favorite things... The H Family and the beautiful red and yellow wildflowers here in Austin!

And one more of my favorite things... Getting to watch the families that I serve with photography grow.  From baby bumps, to newborns, to infants, to big kids... it is just awesome to watch.  And to photograph.

Oh, the H Family... what can I say?  Their laughter is contagious, Big Brother has a laugh I could photograph all day long, and Baby Brother's little rolls just steal my heart.  I loved getting to work with them again this spring.  Click here for their maternity and newborn session sneak peek from last year.

The W Family: Wildflower Session

I loved getting to work with the W Family again.  Last time I worked with them, little H was just a few days old.  Click here for his newborn session.

I couldn't believe how big he had gotten, and how Big Brother had grown up and how he has fallen in love with his Little Brother!  (At the newborn session, Big Brother wasn't so sure...)  He also officially gets the award for "Best Boy Hair."  Don't you think?!  It's rad.

Father's Day Surprise! {Austin Family Photographer}

The mama of this little man crafted a plan to schedule a secret session to surprise her husband for Father's Day.  Such a creative and personalized gift she gave to this little guy's daddy!

When I first met L, he was just 9 days old.  (Click here for his newborn session.  Well, I guess the first time I really met him would have been during the maternity shoot that we did a few months before that.)  :)

I love how these turned out, and isn't he just pint-sized perfection?!  He was my little buddy during the session, and I enjoyed working with his mama to create a special surprise for his daddy on Father's Day.

Wildflower Beauty {Austin Family Photographer}

A few weeks back, I enjoyed doing some wildflower mini-sessions before these amazing wildflowers dried up.  I went to a college whose colors were cardinal and gold, so perhaps that is one reason that these flowers just own my little photographer heart.

The grandma of this little darling purchased the mini-session for this family as a gift.  What a sweet, thoughtful, and lasting gift that was for them!

Sweet Natalia was about to turn one, so I brought out the "ONE" letters.  I love her expression in the first image below!  

The L Family {Austin Family Photographer}

I love getting to work with so many wonderful families through my photography work.

I grew up in a town of 1,200 in the Midwest, so Austin is huge to me.  But I really feel like my neighborhood here in big ol' Austin is like my "little town in a big city."  Familiar faces, familiar places, and so many sweet families and kiddos all around. 

The L Family first heard about me when I was doing pictures of Santa and the kiddos in my neighborhood (click here for some of that cuteness).  It was so fun working with them for one of my Wildflower Mini-Sessions this spring!

What a sweet family they were, and these kiddos were so much fun to work with!  They really made me excited for my own kiddos to be these ages.  That will be them in just 2 years.  Wow.

Sweet Pea {Austin Child Photographer}

Oh how I love watching little gals that are about a year ahead of my own baby girl. 

It is just amazing what they can do, say, dance, sing, and carry out.  I can't believe my baby girl will be this age in less than a year.  Sweet Pea was an absolute joy to work with.  She made us sing, dance, and do the funky chicken, but I am absolutely loving the way her images turned out. 

I think we captured her (and so many of her sweet expressions) and exactly who she is at this time in her sweet little life.  Enjoy a sneak peek into our session.

I am excited to announce my spring child and family mini-session specials!  Happening two days only with limited spots available.

Details:

1) Thursday, March 21st   6:15-6:35pm; 6:40-7pm (No wildflowers)
2) Saturday, April 6th   8-8:20am; 8:30-8:50am; 9-9:20am; 9:30-9:50am  (Wildflowers)

$300 + tax: Includes a 20-minute mini-session and:

• 15 high-resolution (and edited) digital images on CD with print release and printing tips
• 15 free Facebook share images (same poses as your high-resolution digital images, but sized and watermarked for safe online sharing)
• An online gallery of your images available for 5 days to share with friends and family
• 10% off anything we sell (prints, canvas gallery wraps, boutique frames, and more!)

Wildflower Perfection {Austin Children's Photographer}

To say that everything about this session was perfect would be an understatement.  From the sweet clients to their beautiful dresses to the weather - to the beautiful wildflowers... it was perfect. 

I met these two little beauties at the 2011 Fourth of July parade in my neighborhood.  I did free photos for families there and enjoyed the adorable (!!) outfits that these two were wearing.  I mean seriously... does it get any cuter than little blue and white outfits and red cowboy boots... x 2?  (Just you wait... it does!) 

And then in December of 2011, I enjoyed photographing S's 5th birthday party.  Talk about fun... Snip Its did hair and makeup (and lots of glitter) for the kids there, there were dress up clothes galore, and then a red carpet moment to finish it all off.  Amazing!  Click here for that blog post and images. 

Their mama definitely knows how to dress her beautiful girls.  I had so much fun doing a wildflower mini-session with S & S, and it is one of my favorite sessions to date because of the colors, the sweet story of sisterhood the images tell, and the perfect way these beauties were dressed.  It went so well with the colors of the wildflowers.  (In case you're curious, these dresses are by Matilda Jane.) 

Enjoy the sweetness.  I can't wait to see the amazing multi-opening boutique frame her mother purchased with these beautiful prints in it.  What a statement that will make in their beautiful home, and what sweet memories these images will bring back every time they walk past it.  Children grow up so quickly, but portraits are forever, and I feel so blessed to get to create special things and custom artwork like this for my clients. 

To their mama: Thanks so much for being such a wonderful client.  I love working with you and your family, and look forward to our next session.  Your girls are such little beauties - inside and out.
