Eleanor's Newborn Session {Austin Newborn Photographer}

OH sweet little Eleanor.  She was an absolute dream to work with.  She loved every single pose I posed her in, and slept like a gem.  And what a gorgeous little girl she is!  I absolutely adore all of the set ups we got through and the sweet images we captured for her family to cherish always.

Contact us to learn more about our portrait options and to book your family's session.  Please note: Our calendar is normally full about 3 months in advance.  Mamas-to-be should contact us in their second trimester to reserve their spot.

To her parents: Congratulations on your beautiful baby.  I hope you're enjoying all of your images, prints, and the gorgeous Canvas Gallery Wrap on your wall!  This was one of my favorite newborn sessions to date, and I just adore your baby girl.  I can't wait for the next 2 sessions in our "Baby's 1st Year Plan" and to capture all the cuteness to come.

You can read this mama's feedback and review of her experience with Miles of Smiles Photography here.  http://www.milesofsmilesphotography.com/new-the-buzz

Enjoy the photos below and the adorable video at the bottom!

Pint-Sized Presley {Austin Newborn Photographer}

Presley was SUCH a good baby for her newborn session!  Coming in to my studio at about 5.5 pounds and 10 days old, she was so tiny.  And so sweet.  And she gets the award of "Most Newborn Smiles in One Session!"  The girl was so smiley, and it just melted me.

I loved her parents' reaction when they were watching their slideshow of images for the first time at the ordering appointment.  You would think that the newness of that would wear off, but it never does... I love it every time, because as a mama myself, I know how powerful those newborn pictures are when your baby is fresh and oh-so-tiny.  They grow so fast!

Enjoy a sneak peek into our session with Little Miss Smiley.

Here is a funny little outtake from the session while we were letting her sink into a deep sleep.  She loved the white noise from my phone SO much.  So much that she even cuddled the phone a bit.  :)

Sweet Griffin {14 Days New}

This baby.

This tiny, adorable, full head-of-hair baby.

He gets the official award for "best baby behavior" during any of my sessions.  Little Griffin was just perfection.  He was putty in my hands, even at two weeks of age.  One of my favorite newborn sessions to date.  And I loved that I had to brush his hair several times during the session... he has perfect hair and reminded me so much of my little baby boy almost five years ago.  (Just wish I would have gotten adorable newborn portraits of him then.  My one regret in life.  But nonetheless, I am thankful that it (not having NB pics of my baby boy) catapulted my dream into a reality business of Miles of Smiles Photography 3.5 years ago!)

B Family: Congratulations on your beautiful family and precious baby boy!  Thanks for allowing me into your home to capture such sweet memories of the three of you.

Sweet Dylan's Newborn Session {Austin Newborn Photographer}

I think it is safe to say I am a bit behind in blogging.  But if you know photographers, you know that the months of September through December are full-out crazy.  Wonderfully busy, but full-out crazy getting all of those sessions in and beautiful portraits to our clients before the holidays.  (Not to mention being Santa's helper and getting all things Christmas lined up for my own family!)  But now that the holidays are behind us, I am digging in and catching up a bit.

Oh, how I love working with the H Family!  I first met mom and big brother for the maternity session, and it honestly felt like we were old friends.  I love that about my job and the people I get to work with!  Their maternity session turned out SO cute... click here for the whole story and more images from that session.

 Big Brother's daddy is a doctor, so we turned this sweet image below into a beautiful canvas for his office as a surprise.  How fun!

And then came the arrival of handsome Dylan.  Other than pottying on me twice in the first few minutes (just part of our job), he was an absolute angel during our session.  Enjoy a sneak peek into our morning together.  Are they not the cutest little family?!

Dylan gave his big brother a book, and he was so happy to read it to his new baby brother.  I love this shot!

To the H Family: I have loved our sessions together so far, and feel like we've all known each other for years.  I hope you are enjoying every day of being a family of four.  Can't wait to work with you again!

Sweet Little Cody Clare... 8 Days New {Austin Baby Photographer}

"Every good and precious gift is from above."  ~Jeremiah 1:17

With that I would have to agree.  And little Cody Clare is certainly a perfect little gift.  What an angel she was during our entire session.  I love the way her images turned out, and hope they bring many smiles to her mom and dad's hearts over the years as they watch her grow and remember how tiny she started.

Not only did I get to photography this family of 3 (plus their dog), Cody Clare's cousins were in town visiting too, so I enjoyed photographing a four month old and almost 3 year old, and all 3 cousins together.  Needless to say, my body got a workout that day!  Stay tuned for part II coming soon for their sweet images.

Sweet Mahlon {Austin Lifestyle Newborn Photographer}

I love lifestyle sessions.  Especially lifestyle newborn sessions, because I know as a mom of two Littles, there is SO much love, planning, crafting, shopping, and creativity that can go into creating your baby's nursery.  (And other rooms in your family's home, too.)  And it's fun to get some of that on camera when baby is just a tiny little thing.

And it is also fun to capture a family in their own element.  The B Family newborn session was one of my all-time favorites because we did just that.

I love how sweet Mahlon was... so tiny, new, and perfect.  And her big brother reminded me so much of my little Miles when his baby sister was born.  And don't even get the little Midwest farm-girl in me started about how excited I was when they said they had a red barn that we could use for some pictures too.

When this mama sat down with me at our ordering session, happy tears came to her eyes as she watched the slideshow of her images for the first time.  I love when the things I capture through my camera bring that emotion to a new mom, because that is exactly what I work towards when shooting.  We put together such a unique and fun order for their home, and I can't wait to get their fine art products and images in for this sweet family of 4 to enjoy for many years to come.

Enjoy a sneak peek into our lifestyle newborn session.

P.S. - After the three hour session, I was packing up my things, and Mahlon's daddy said, "Could you get your camera out for one more shot?  She loves laying on me when I'm laying on the couch."  (I thought to myself, "Yes and Yes!  And how awesome that this guy is asking me to take MORE pics."  Usually guys are cooked by then.)  :)  And this is the shot we got.  She absolutely loved curling up on her daddy.  Love, love, love!

To the B Family: It was so great working with the four of you.  What a sweet family you are, and I look forward to working with you again in the future and watching your family grow.  Enjoy every moment.

Newborn Quin {Austin Newborn Photographer}

I cannot believe I let this slip, but in the crazy-busy fall photography season, last December, I let this blog post sit as a "draft" instead of publishing it.  But I had to post it today... even though sweet Quin is 6 months old now!

The S Family has been with me from the very beginning of my photography business, and I think in the last almost 3 years, we've worked together 5 times.  I love watching their sweet girls grow, and my little boy has a big crush on Miss Gia!

Enjoy a look at the sweetness that Quin was.  I know her mama is enjoying the pretty canvas wall display we worked together to create, as well as the adorable album  and prints.
