Vivienne - Newborn Session {Baby's First Year Plan}

This family has been so much fun to work with.  When we first met at little V's newborn session, we realized that both of our kids share the same birthdays!  And one of them is the same day/month AND year.

I absolutely love capturing a baby's first year.  When clients book a "Baby's First Year Plan," they set themselves up to capture that first amazing year, get amazing goodies along the way, and 3 discounted sessions.  Click here to learn more about our Baby's First Year Plan.

Here is a look into her newborn session.  Click here to see their 6 month session (Part 2 of Baby's First Year Plan).

Adorable Little Xander - 5 Weeks New {Austin Newborn Photographer}

More catching up from late Fall 2014 here at the blog... Next up is Xander's Newborn Studio Session!

Little Xander decided to make his entrance into the world a bit early.  We shot his newborn session when he was 5 weeks old (and so tiny!), and I think it was right around his actual due-date.  You never know how a 5-week old will be in a session, as newborn sessions are mostly done when babies are 5-14 days old.  But Xander rocked it.

I bet he has changed so much since our newborn session.  Enjoy a sneak peek into our Studio Newborn Session.

Sweet Little Jack - 10 Days New {Austin Newborn Photographer}

Project "Catching Up on Fall 2014 Blog Posts" continues with adorable little Jack.

This little boy... he had my heart during his session at our studio.  He was about 10 days old and almost 10 pounds of pure newborn goodness when we shot his session.  His big sister did such a wonderful job during her part of the session too.

I can't wait to work with them again this year.  And they won the GRAND prize at my Studio Grand Opening event in January (a 16x20 Canvas Gallery Wrap!), so I can't wait to get that up on their walls this year.  Good stuff!

Isn't he divine?

*Currently booking newborns 2-3 months in advance.  Mamas-to-be: Be sure to contact me at the start of your 3rd trimester to reserve your spot.

Pint-Sized Presley {Austin Newborn Photographer}

Presley was SUCH a good baby for her newborn session!  Coming in to my studio at about 5.5 pounds and 10 days old, she was so tiny.  And so sweet.  And she gets the award of "Most Newborn Smiles in One Session!"  The girl was so smiley, and it just melted me.

I loved her parents' reaction when they were watching their slideshow of images for the first time at the ordering appointment.  You would think that the newness of that would wear off, but it never does... I love it every time, because as a mama myself, I know how powerful those newborn pictures are when your baby is fresh and oh-so-tiny.  They grow so fast!

Enjoy a sneak peek into our session with Little Miss Smiley.

Here is a funny little outtake from the session while we were letting her sink into a deep sleep.  She loved the white noise from my phone SO much.  So much that she even cuddled the phone a bit.  :)

Sweet Stella - 4 Days New {Austin Newborn Photographer}

I loved getting to do little Stella's newborn session!  We did more of a lifestyle session in her family's home, and they were such an adorable family to work with.  I love meeting wonderful families, and it's extra neat when they live in my own neighborhood.

She was so tiny, and other than my own babies, she was the newest-newborn I have worked with ~ at just four days old.  {I do most newborn sessions between 5-14 days old.}  Enjoy a sneak peek into our morning together.

Newborn Alexis and The J Family {Austin Newborn Photographer}

When you talk about a sweet family and sweet kiddos, this is the type of family that you talk about.

When sweet Alexis' mom contacted me, she was almost two weeks old, and thanks to having my new photography studio (click here) up and running now, I was able to take her on last minute.   {But just for future mamas: Don't wait... best time to schedule is at the *start* of your third trimester, because my calendar is filling super fast these days.}

And I am SO glad we were able to squeeze it in!  What sweet images we got of this adorable family as they became a family of six.   Can't wait to get them their gorgeous canvas gallery wrap collection to put on the walls of their brand new home once they move in to go along with the other sweet images and prints they have.

Aren't they precious?

Baby sister smiled when big sis held her.  Melt!

Safe in Daddy's hands.
