Little Levi {Austin Newborn Photographer}

Levi was a dream to work with and did so great during our newborn studio session!  Enjoy a sneak peek into our morning together.  I know his mama is enjoying her beautiful canvas gallery wrap of her little man in the "Mom" hat.  :)  What I would give to have one of those of my son when he was tiny.

Mahlon ~ 9 Months Old {Austin Baby Photographer}

Oh, beautiful little Mahlon.  She is a gem.

And MY how she's grown since her newborn session!  (Click here for more... one of my favorite lifestyle sessions to date.)

Mahlon came in to test out my new studio lighting a few months ago.  Isn't she a doll? Hard to believe she'll be turning one soon.

Sweet Little Everett ~ 3 Months Old {Austin Baby Photographer}

Everett came into my studio space... with his big blue eyes, little jelly rolls, and so much sweetness.  I could have played with him all day!  Isn't he precious?  I adore 3-month sessions... Big smiles, chubby legs, and not yet having the ability to crawl away from me.

One of my favorite things about photography is that I get to not only capture parents' love for their baby on camera, but I get to see it lived out.  These two are so in love with their little man, and I just love how his session turned out.  He even fell asleep at the end for us!  Enjoy a sneak peek.

P Family: It was a pleasure working with you and capturing these memories for you.  Thanks for choosing Miles of Smiles Photography!  I'm so glad you're loving the wall portraits and other images from our session in your home.  Congrats on the perfect little addition to your family!

The Once a Year (2014) BIG SALE is ON!! Through 8/1/14

I am SO excited to let you know that The BIG SALE is on!  This only happens once a year.  The amazing, colorful, unique boutique frames are 20% off through August 1st, 2014!

These boutique frames are such a fun addition to any room in your home.  They come in over 52 colors and are a great way to add pops of color to a room, or keep things simple with neutrals.  These frames make great gift ideas, so get your shopping started early this year.  (See "Nitty Gritty" info. at the bottom for the lowdown from Sarah.)

NEW!  Click here for a look book showing beautiful ways to display these frames.

A few fun facts about the frames:
  • Frames are unique in the fact that they do not have glass, so your image looks AMAZING (no glare!) no matter the angle you're seeing it from.  (Regular frames with glass have a lot of glare and reflection.)  Frames are beautifully distressed so each frame is unique.
  • We'll give you tips on how to print your own images so they are safe without glass, or you can order prints from us at a discount (please inquire).
  • Want a cover for your print?  A non-glare acrylic is available for an extra fee.
  • Sizes listed are for the size of image the frame holds.  Actual outer frame dimensions are much larger.  For example, an 8x10 single stack frame in the Lucy shape has dimensions of 13x15.  An 8x10 double stack frame in the Lucy shape has dimensions of 17x19.
  • Available in over 50 colors and 16 frame shapes and even a double stack option (my FAVORITE!).  See options below.
    • Confused?  Just email me and I'll walk you through it.
    • Want a color or frame shape recommendation?  Just ask!
    • Favorite shapes: Lucy, Mary Ann, Eva, Ellie, Gilligan (see options below)
The Details:
  • All orders and payment must be placed and finalized by Aug. 1st, 2014.  You will receive a PayPal invoice for your order.  Payment is due within 24 hours of receiving your invoice.
  • Due to the custom nature of these products, all sales are final.  If there is a defect with your frame upon receiving it, please let us know and we'll get a replacement made.
  • Sarah will place one big order for frames on August 2nd.  Frames take 3-4 weeks  to arrive, and Sarah will notify clients when they are available for pick up.
  • Prices include shipping costs to Sarah.  Frames must be picked up from 78739 (South Austin).  Want it shipped to you?  Regular pricing on these frames is available (prices include shipping to your home) to anyone in the Lower 48 states.

The Nitty Gritty from Sarah:
  • Why do you love these frames?  When I see these frames on my walls, they just make me happy.  They are fun, colorful, something that not many people have in their home, and just a super fun way to customize your space.  Not to mention they come in some sweet colors, so I use them as accents in my rooms.  I also love that there is no glass covering the images, because there is NO glare that way.  So no matter where I am in a room, I'm seeing 100% of that image (vs. lots of glare that glass causes).
  • Yes, the frames are pricey.  Are they worth it?  I know the frames are a bit more pricey than an average frame.  But that is just it... these are SO not average!  I love supporting the small business that makes these, because they are innovative and provide amazing service and products.  And the frames are very well made.  Real wood.  Top quality.  So yes.  Worth every penny!
  • Which frames do you like best?  My ABSOLUTE favorite is the 11x14 double stack Lucy.  Even though it's an 11x14 frame, the dimensions are much larger = 23 x 27!  (I usually choose a color frame on the outside, white frame on inside frame.)  I have two of these in my home - see images below.  One above my baby's crib in her nursery that holds a newborn picture from when she was tiny (melt!) and one in my living room above the TV holding a picture I took of my son with his baby sister.   Every time I look at either of them, I melt.  Worth every penny.  I get so many comments on these when we have guests over.

Nathan ~ 10 Days New {Austin Newborn Photographer}

Oh, little Nathan.  He was a dream to work with!

For one, he was the first newborn session in my new photography studio, which is a dream in and of itself for me with Miles of Smiles Photography.  And secondly, he was just perfection - all wrapped up into a precious baby boy.

There is something so magical about capturing the tiny-ness of a newborn.  It is the one time in that child's life that he or she will ever be that tiny.  That new.  That fresh.  That mysterious.  That flawless.  I love getting to capture it for my clients and having them melt every time they see their baby's images up on the walls in their home as they grow.

Enjoy a sneak peek into my morning with Nathan.  (You wouldn't believe this, but he didn't potty or poop at all during the session.  And within 10 minutes after we finished, his poor mommy had to change 4 poopy diapers!  Good timing on that, little man.)

I love that Grandma even got in on the action.  Such a sweet keepsake memory.

Lisa: It was a pleasure working with you guys, and seeing your baby bump grow and meeting your new addition!  Thanks so much for letting Nathan be the first baby in my new studio.  Enjoy your cuddles with your adorable baby boy.
